Back Contact half-cut

Back Contact (BC) solar cells are a high-efficiency solar cell technology where both the positive and negative electrodes are placed on the backside of the cell.
High cell efficiency.
Efficiency improvement by 6% to 10% compared to traditional modules of the same area.
More energy in hot climates
Lower temperature coefficient (-0.26%/°C): reduced power loss per degree celsius compared to TOPCon (-0.29%/°C).
Runs cooler
Under standard test conditions (STC), BC operates 0.5°C cooler than TOPCon, enhancing efficiency and lifespan.
Long-term reliability
Low annual degradation rate of 0.35% versus TOPCon's 0.4% - retaining 88.9% power after 30 years.
